You realize that if they didn't care about quality, they wouldn't sell anything, right?

That's not true whatsoever. If that was the case, you wouldn't of sold a single Focus or Fiesta after the DCT issues started coming out.

There are plenty of companies that make utter crap, yet still sells like hotcakes. Consumers are stupid and buy based on emotion/advertising. All Ford needs to do is make something marginally better/more attractive than their competition... coincidentally, the bar is pretty low nowadays.

With as much money as they have had to throw at the problem, Ford probably could have easily engineered a simple 6AT trans and replaced every faulty Powershift DCT and saved money.

ordered my transit connect in December of 2020, told it would be a 2021, then told it would be a 2022, supposed to be built by April 26th, now showing to be built in the middle of July sometime..

For every Focus/Fiesta that had the issue, there were 2-3 that didn't.
