Does it need ANYTHING to be RTR? I've been in the market, but I'm still learning about R/C.

It's all ready to run. Transmitter is included, but you will need 6 AA batteries for it. A 7.2 battery and charger is also included. I charged it up and ran it a couple of weeks ago. It still runs great. You can view pics and read all about it from the craigslist link I provided. :coolman:
