Hello everyone and I need some info/advice on this t56 swap
I have 3:27 gears and the car is a daily driver.
Is this the best gearing or a 3:55 or other better.
I drive it daily long miles.

The reverse lock out solenoid, any advice on that, some people cut the spring and other connect it to a power source with a momentary switch.
Thanks Woody

What are your intentions with the car?

If its staying pretty stock, I would do 4.10s at a minimum to offset the long 1st and 2nd gears of the T56. These will put you at a ratio for, first and second, similar to your stock setup now. Both the Cobra T56 and the late 3650 have the same final OD so 4.10s would put you around 2500rpm @ 70mph, give or take.

There is a company out there that makes a reverse lockout module that operates similarly to how the pcm would control the solenoid. So its activated at <5mph or something like that. If you don't want to spend the extra cash and do more wiring; I would just tap into my brake wire so it's activated every time you hit the brake pedal.
