I'm trying to locate polyurethane manual trans mounts for this cobra. I see others say they used prothane but when I go to vendors web sites there doesn't seem to be any options for urethane. Has anyone added poly mounts recently and what part did they use?
thanks

Ok thanks.
It's just that on Summit's website for example its only for the v6. So I'll call Prothane or Energy on Monday and verify.

Energy Suspension 41104 transmission mount

generally speaking you don't want you trans mount to be stiffer than your motor mount...

EDIT: The Prothane poly is stiffer than the Energy Suspension.
I was told that I could probably get away with just replacing the tranny mount, and not the engine mounts should I go with ES, I elected to just do them later as a set..they are getting done when i go to long tubes...unless they actually fail sooner..

I'll second that no reason for a urethane mount. I've heard guys cracking tailshafts because it restricts movement too much.
