Replaced the sleeve with a billet model from Lethal when I did the clutch the last time. Pulled the trans because I was having clutch problems and decided to upgrade to a 26 spline shaft and heavier clutch. When I pulled the trans, I noticed that the retainer sleeve was spinning in place. I took it out, froze it and tried to reinstall it but it bottoms out and still spins. Is there a fix that doesn't involve buying a new front cover? I thought it went in tightly when I installed it, but that was a couple years ago and I just can't be 100% sure.

I had to tap mine in place to install it using a large socket and hammer. Definitely wasn't spinning or moving

Yeah I did the same when I installed it the first time. I swear it wasn't moving at that time but it for sure is now.
