T-56 Parasitic Losses vs T-45 or 3650

I upgraded to a T-56 a long time ago, but never thought about this until I changed a clutch by myself and realized how much heavier the 6-speed is compared to my original T-45.

My highest dyno numbers were through the T-45, but I can't make any direct comparisons because of how many other things I changed at the same time as my transmission.

What do you think the parasitic losses of a T-56 are compared to a T-45 or 3650 are? Does anyone have any before and after dyno numbers?

I wonder if the closer ratios of the 6 speed are negated by the fact that the car puts less power to the ground, holding all else constant.

I can't imagine it would be enough to care about. Between using an aluminum driveshaft and an aluminum flywheel, I pretty much saved any loss I would've recieved. Hell, I'm sure the driveshaft alone makes up for it compared to the factory steel ds.

With my t-56, the ratios didn't change all that much. if anything, the got a lot longer for 1st and second. Instead of being able to do 45 mph in first, I now can do 50+. I'm pretty sure the t-56 has taller gears. Someone I'm sure can chime in. Found this thread in my curiosity.

Any loss is minimal I'm sure. I went from the 3650 to a T56 with basically the same engine combo and didn't notice a difference. Although first was a little more usable with the T56.

Dyno pull in 4th gear on both boxes is 1:1 and obviously weight does not matter. So other than an extra gear floating around and a larger shaft center to center distance on the T-56 assumes heavier gears, I doubt you'd see any real difference.
