I have recently found some e85 stations about an hour away and I'm wanting to convert. I don't drive my car a lot so I figured i could buy 3-5 vp plastic drums to store the fuel. My car is a 03 cobra built motor, cams, 2.3 whipple, full exhaust and return fuel system. I have a fore return style fuel system with dual walbro 255 and 60 lbs injectors. I will be getting dual walbro 465 pump but curious if 80 lb injectors would be enough? Will be getting a 2.9 whipple this year so maybe I need to go with bigger injectors?

I would just go with ID1000's. They tune better than the 80's and will leave you more headroom. Why buy injectors twice?
the 80lb/hr injectors are too small to take advantage of a 2.9 whipple on e85. Go with at least id1000s or 105lb/hr injectors.

does anyone know what the HP limit is on ID1000 with E85?
Not as straight forward as you think. On a blower car ~800ish. If you have extra pump you can bump the base pressure and can stretch them a little.

Ok...I'm using fore hat with a set of 465...so I should be good for 850?
