SVT/Cobras at Woodward Dream Cruise (Aug 16-17th)
Hey Fellow Cobra Owners:
Just wanted to give everyone the heads up/reminder that the Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan is just around the corner (Weekend of August 16-17th). Several of us had previously discussed this matter in a previous thread over the winter/spring...well its only a few weeks away! Let's get a good contingency of SVT iron up there!
The gathering at the World Ford Headquarters in Dearborn appears to be "off" this year (unless someone has heard otherwise). I have heard numerous reasons why, from the new lady that took over Art Hydes' position at Team Mustang, to the fact that the burnouts on Fords' grounds had gotten outta control (mostly their fault since THEIR engineer piled up THEIR '00 R there last summer!!)...The Ferndale, MI Mustang show is "ON" though...also a great event, with a couple hundred Mustangs (only). Its held on Friday and Saturday, and heres a link off Stangnet referring to it:

Anyway, lets get a big group of these cars back to their home town (almost), and let the public see that we actually drive/enjoy/race them!
If you have never been, you gotta do this one at least once! Keep in mind that they get 50,000 plus cars, and 1.75 million people in attendance for this event! This is a 16 mile long car show, held along Woodward Ave, the hotbed of where muscle cars, and street/drag racing began. Its advertised as the worlds largest ONE DAY CRUISE, but it actually goes nearly A WEEK. Guys start cruising Mon/Tues!! Its an amazing site, that should be even neater if we can get a good group of us up there. Email me if you have any questions. Hope to see you there! Jeremy
