Your sample dataset is heavily skewed/biased. You only used this forum’s classifieds section... a forum mostly filled with car-modding type enthusiasts. The collectors are few and far between here. Look at the 93 Cobra sub-forum here... it is all but dead while the Terminator section is thriving. This is not a good representation of supply vs. demand. I have been contacted by people that have seen my Teal 93 Cobra in pics and videos I have posted. Some have only seen a small portion of the car in a picture focused on another car in my collection. I have had quite a few unsolicited sale inquiries. The demand for those cars is strong while the supply is very small. Don’t misconstrue what I am saying though. I am a big Terminator fan and Mystichrome is a real passion. The demand is also strong for Mystichrome cars. I asked top dollar for the 4500 mile car I sold last year. The car sold for my asking price quite quickly. I just see quite a glaring different starting point between the two cars from a collector viewpoint. Someone that might want a Teal 93 may be open to red or black as well as long as it is a low mile pristine car. Even including all of the other colors, they might still strike out when trying to find a proper virgin collector car. With the Mystichrome Terminator, if that same buyer is open to any color 03/04 to find a low-mile virgin collector car, they will have a much better chance of finding one with the much larger supply. Both my 93 and my 04 are appreciating, which is always a plus with a collector car. My Teal 93 Cobra just happens to have appreciated at the most aggressive rate since I bought it.
