Speaking from some experience here The tork tech kits are made in a garage and honestly, built like crap. Will it work? Yes, just be aware of what you're getting into. The castings were so rough and the aluminum adapters were so raw they still had the production ink on it from when the raw aluminum was produced. I vividly remember some of the edges of the lower intake manifold being so sharp they could cut you if you weren't careful. The kit my friend ordered came damaged and the guy at tork tech tried convincing him to just pound the bends out and run it. The pulley was bent and the coolant crossover on the intake was very bent. My friend ended up getting the guy to replace the damaged parts, I'm sure the damaged parts were "fixed" and sold to someone else. I wish I had photos to show of how f'd up it was but I have a feeling my friend deleted them off his smugmug, he has a habit of doing that when he wants to forget something existed. In regards to the 2.1L kit, his father put that kit on his 01 cobra. I know we're talking 2v vs 4v here, but that car which was 100% factory (all the way down to the mufflers) made 460rwhp and 406rwtq @10psi with that 2.1L kit. As far as I know the only "issue" with this kit was the provided tune which IIRC may have been on a chip (this was back in like 2010). The kit included a big sheet saying "do not dyno tune this car!!!", meanwhile the supplied tune made the car run like absolute crap. His father had the car tuned by Jannetty Racing in CT and the car hasn't had any issues in the 8 years that kit has been on.
