I noticed that too, Don. That's an awfully small CAI for a 1200 HP crank Shelby SS.No expert on SS conversions, but didn't the CAI look very small ? I know the KB conversions are larger than that. & I know larger ones are available..

It was definitely a nice low-CSM and mileage 2014 SS with widebody, Signature Edition, and a holeshot option package. The new owner still got a killer deal.I think you're right, and yes, the lack of documentation more than likely hurt the sale. Either way someone got a good deal, hopefully it's going to a good home.
It's a great lookin Super Snake and I love that it has the Shelby1000 wheels, I like the signature edition emblems lol, but they're not for everyone. This guy used to be on here a lot, I just can't remember his user name. View attachment 1937992View attachment 1937993View attachment 1937994View attachment 1937995
I really wanted to find a signature edition, but they're hard to find, and yes, the standard SS emblems look perfect.I like everything about it, EXCEPT the lack of documentation and those emblems.
I strongly prefer basic Super Snake emblems, like yours.

This is on a 2012 Shelby 1000 with the 4.0 whipple, it's the biggest intake whipple offered with their supercharger. The KB gimme 5 intake is bigger, I feel like KB more thought into their supercharger setupI noticed that too, Don. That's an awfully small CAI for a 1200 HP crank Shelby SS.
I wish we knew more about the build, maybe the car will show up on one of the Super Snake Facebook groups I follow, side note just to vent lol, (I absolutely hate the dick bags at JFK auto run the biggest SS group) but if it does show up I'll ask questions. It was definitely a nice low-CSM and mileage 2014 SS with widebody, Signature Edition, and a holeshot option package. Doesn't look like a stock Whipple zip tube, but still on the small side for that build.I really wanted to find a signature edition, but they're hard to find, and yes, the standard SS emblems look perfect.

I wonder if JFK snagged that SS? I sure would like more details on it; if JFK did indeed grab it, then they knew something was really rare about it.I really wanted to find a signature edition, but they're hard to find, and yes, the standard SS emblems look perfect.

It's very possible they did, especially with it being a signature edition widebody with low mileage.I wonder if JFK snagged that SS? I sure would like more details on it; if JFK did indeed grab it, then they knew something was really rare about it.
SAI couldn't, or wouldn't, remanufacture your original faux cap?
Mine is decent but it will need to be reconditioned here in the near future. I plan to have SAI send it out. It's very possible they did, especially with it being a signature edition widebody with low mileage.
And no, if your faux gas cap gets damaged or lost they can't replace it, so I had a backup one made. But they told me they can reconditioned my current one.

If that shelby was authentic and being a SE widebody w/1K package it would be worth 275K easy.
Yea, its in pretty good shape steve.Mine is ok, but I want to get it looking perfect. View attachment 1938132
I do agree that the off-road X-pipe sounds better on the SS than the H-pipe did. Can't wait to get my MM K-Member, ARH headers W/H-Pipe installed.Got my off road X-pipe installed, I absolutely love how it sounds. Made a new YouTube video of all 3 setups.

Well, I'm prepping the car for storage right now. It's going to be stored in the next three weeks. Nothing planned for this winter, as I won't even have the car in my possession. I'm still contemplating how much I want to modify the SS. I only want to do this one time (Disassemble her). I really, really want to forge all the internals. But if I do that, the drivetrain, rear end, etc., etc., will have to be done. Thanks Vinnie
Are you planning on installing everything over the winter months?
