I daily drive a 2013 gt, I'm in the northeast. I currently have 19in track pack wheels in the car with 255/40 all seasons on it.

I'm looking for a wheel and tire setup for the summer only caveats are all black and as wide as I can possibly go. Car is stock suspension wise.

Should I go 19s or 20s? And the widest set I could find was 11in rears and like 9 or 9.5 in fronts.

Is there anywhere to look for a semi affordable set? That was off american muscle.

Thanks in advance

You'll almost certainly have to look further than any of the big-box retailers for front wheels wider than you mentioned.

Places like Apex, Vorshlag, and Stranoparts. You may have to separately source the tires, but the advantage there is that you're not stuck with Nittos.

The current PP2 version of the S550 Mustang GT runs 305/30-19 and that may be becoming the default cornering size choice.

I happen to be running 18 x 11's for part of the time, with 285/35-18's. On all four corners. They do poke a little.

Appreciate the feedback, I'll check out those sites. I'm really worried about the front width, more so just want the widest I can stick out back.

Still not sure if 19s or 20s will look better

Do u have Brembo's? If so, a lot of wheels won't fit.

20's are too big bro. They look Gay and u will get zero traction with a 20 inch tire DR or not. A 19x10 will work just fine and wont rub.

Yeah, it's a premium and has brembo's up front. I'll stick with the 19in diameter, I was leaning that way.

Im running 20” in front and back, have great traction with 305’s on the rear, 285 on the front. Never been told they look gay.

I don’t think mine looks gay either. 315 on 20x11 rear and 285 on 20x10 front. As long as you do 20x10 with 40 offset you will be fine.

20x9 with 2 275 /35 R20 and 20x10.5 295 /35 R20 (Ferrari Spec) Supersports the "295" in the rear are as wide as most 305's ... fits nicely, with no rub as the top of the outside of rears is just inside the top of the fender.

There is no such thing as great traction with a 20 inch rim bro. Great traction comes from a 275/60. 20 inch tires have no sidewall. I've tried all brands at both 19's and 20's and the 20's were down right dangerous at 700 whp. Skating pond down the hi way!

For tires of the same size and classification, they are great when compared. I should have clarified that specific for you.

Thanks for the replies!

New question, I'm going with sve r350s 19x10 front and 19x11 rear.

Will I be able to run a 325/30 r19 on the rear without modding?

Too close for me to call. It's going to be half an inch closer to the top of the fender opening than what I'm running on my car, and your tire as mounted is going to be a whole inch wider at the sidewall and about the same amount wider at the tread. My car is not lowered in these pictures, but has been lowered by a little more than 15mm since with no problems. I am assuming that there isn't much difference in the rear wheel openings between your car and mine here.

If it does fit, offset is going to be critical, and I'd plan on removing the tiedown brackets from the get-go (above where the rear bumpstops contact the chassis - you don't necessarily have to remove the bumpstop contact surface), if only to simplify tire & wheel removal/installation.

Thanks for the input Norm, that's really going to help me out.

I got a crazy deal on new Shelby CS1s I couldn't pass up 20x11 rears 20x9 fronts. I'm going 315 35s in the rear and either 255 35s or 275 35s up front (haven't decided on the fronts yet)
