my buddy and I are wanting to build a race car, so that i dont blow up my '03 early on, I cant do anything simple though, I have the oppurtunity to get a '87 mustang with no engine or tranny for free, and a triton V-10 relativly cheap. can i make the two dance together, or would it be a waste of time to even try? thanks in advance

well you'd need a tranny, custom driveshaft, shit i don't know if it'd be worth it or not.

It's been done, but there a WAY cheaper ways to go fast. You can't beat a stroked Windsor for cheap go-fast.

How about a 351W stroked to 392-427cu.in., in front of a Tremec 5 speed? Its gotta weigh less than the V-10! Lessee...the V-10 is 6.8l, that's about 429 cu. in. (460=7.5).

heck even if you dont want it simple buy the new dart block and bore and stroke it to 440
