Lots of stress at work. Saw it coming, 2 years ago. Told everyone, was assured there was nothing to be worried about. Told them, repeatedly, "No, I'm not guessing. I'm you're number one guy, and I'm telling you this is going to happen, it's coming."

They didn't listen. It has come to pass. Now I'm posting drunk stuff on feeble-book about, I kid you not, punctuation. PUNCTUATION!

Management has only themselves to blame.

Not necessarily. Some people can handle extreme amount of stress and live well into there 90s.

No job is worth the stress. I avoid stress like the plague. If I think a client is going to be difficult to work with, I suddenly become too busy to take on any jobs.

Gents, I'm here to tell you it's the truth. 1 year ago to the day I woke up to someone pulling a breathing tube out of me. The day before installing a roof by myself, now sedated and strapped down.
I'm at 95 percent of were I was a year ago. Climbed down out of my rig today and soaked to my underwear with sweat, I thanked my Lord for another day and the ability to work. I enjoy what I do, cant imagine not being able to build. Recognize your blessings.

If anyone has a job that stresses them out to the point they need to drink or look forward to the weekend then you need to change jobs. It’s truly not worth it. My last job was like that and since making the switch life is so much better.
