Made it to my first Street Car Takeover event in St. Louis this weekend and it was an absolute blast. Needless to say I will be going to the one in Indy this year.

Didn't have a charged phone on me for a lot of the weekend so don't have many pics/vids of other vehicles and action at the event but 1320 video was there all weekend so it shouldn't be too hard to find in the next couple days.

Made my first 1/4 passes in the car this weekend and lost my track v card, definitely need more seat time to perfect launch and improve on 60' to see some impressive ET's.

Here are my two best ET's, nothing to brag about. Went 10.79 on my first pass. Would've seen mid 10's but sweaty palms made for a few missed shifts on these passes with the mediocre 60 foots. Better shifting on the poor launches saw traps closer to 138 (137.81 was best iirc). All passes were on 11 psi. Vid is the 10.87 pass, missed 3rd gear but quickly got it back in so it didn't ruin the run but definitely handicapped it. Was bogging down hard on my other launches but had a blast with my first 1/4 mile experience and will be making it to Beech Bend soon with more boost and more RPMs on the launch lol.

Sorry for poor quality on the vids, going to try to get better footage at the Indy event.

The roll racing event was a lot of fun and where the car really got to prove itself. There were some heavy hitters in the King of the Bakery class trapping mid-high 160's including a Nova that was running low 8's earlier that day. I turned it up to 15 psi for these two runs but since there was no room for burnouts I was seeing some traction issues even from a 40-45 roll so didn't want to take the boost any higher.

First run was against a single turbo LSX swapped 350z, owner said it made 777 whp and weighed just 3300 lbs before he dumped the exhuast. Thing sounded mean and was wicked fast. I trapped 145 followed by his 144, was a very close race. Guy was super cool but unfortunately ended up blowing the motor running the same GTO I also ran.

Here is the run with the GTO, don't have much info on the car but I know it's from the Indy area and is 800+ whp, 408ci with I believe f1 procharger. Spun pretty hard on the hit for this one but luckily had a lot more mph and was able to come back around him.

Whoever is taking the vids, tell them to hold their phone sideways. It will record in the standard aspect ratio and get a larger viewing window.

Looks like you had traction issues in all of the races. I can imagine it's hard to tame a beast like that.

Steven said F1 so who knows. Car is well known in Indy so maybe he will chime in haha.

Yeah I couldn't find anywhere with it saying it had a F1 like I thought, but found that it had a 408 though. So id think with a 408 and a D1 makes the 800hp make more sense.

Damn to those people who never pop the hood hahaha :)
