Imminent domain and tax seizure are pretty rough roads to be on the wrong side of. That said, I do t personally buy stuff that is likely to be right in the way of a near future development like say a border wall or freeway. I also pay my taxes and do well to stay on the right side of our government. The Bundy ranch and Wako Texas scenario’s were bad. I don’t think we had 5:5 military or government control back in the 70’s and 80’s and 90’s. It was like 3:4 good guys mostly on the inside deep, with a growing number of bad actors, and mostly solid patriots above board and out in the fields. We had the Chinese/russian/Iranian communist sympathizing criminal crime ring led the Clinton crime ring to develop and all their minions to start propping in mid 80’s. China taking the Panama Canal was a huge mishap imo. Maybe I’m 100% wrong, I’m fine with that just show me the proof. I truly feel the country today is in a very strong position to break into the next tech/industrial revolution. I’m 30yr old civilian and work 15 hours a day. My hunches and assumptions are obviously opinions based on the Internet and talking to people. Guys from the military that I meet seem very level headed and patriotic. I’m not worried that the average military member would mame or harm the average citizen on bad orders. The Air Force refused to be Alkaida’s Air Force, this easily puts my mind at ease.
