[QUOTE="tt335ci03cobra, post: 16320896, member: 68944"] It’s a brand new halo package on a 5 year old chassis. You’re comparing a 1 week old car to a 2 year old package on a 12 year old chassis. The demons, red eyes, zr1’s, zl1’s, and on all had markups through the roof their first weeks. Ford offers a $37,500 11.7@120 capable mustang gt. If a scatpack running 12.1 for 40k impresses you... Ford offers a flat plane v8 with 100hp/L for $60k... if enthusiasm and incredible stuff for cheap impresses you... Ford offers a $92k mustang that can lap with Ferrari 812’s and Porsche GT2’s while running 1/4 mike with and past redeyes, and z06’s. It’s nipping on demons with a coveted tire. You said yourself people put on drag radials to go to the strip. If drag radials and welds is all a red eye needs to be stock and run 10.2 in excellent rare air, then I’m sure you’ll appreciate when a gt500 on wheels and drag radials runs 9’s equally stock at high mph, with more consistency. The drag wheels are worth 2 tenths at least and you know that. Run a drag radial on the factory wheel with full wheels upfront and you’ll be hard pressed to break 10.5’s. Run a demon on pump gas and full size fronts against a gt500 on an equal drag radial and you’ll have a dick measuring contest that goes to the ford in my opinion. I saw demons going for $150-200k when they were a week old. $150k-$200k is a big sack of money to basically run what a $120-150k car will do considering one is a straight line car that had a $60-110k markup and the other has a carbon fiber wheel package worth $18k by itself, painted stripes, can easily rock a road course right after blasting off basically pump gas demon times, and has a $20-50k markup. A $37k 10a mustang gt is almost as fast as a $60k ‘15 hellcat. Keep in mind dodge let the hellcats also have $25k+ markups.
