Only changes was the cams and springs. I degreed them to the cam card that cam in the box.. I wanted to see what they would do by themselves.. As much as I wanted to do the headers at the same time I decided to hold off to see the gains first..

Nice! What are the specs on the cams? Was the car originally tuned on a hotter day?

Was actually tuned around the same time of year.. Just comp stage 3 blower cams.. Would have to look up the specs.. Around 600rwhp is were most 2.2kbs put down on 19psi in hot or cold weather

Awesome gains. what did the card tell you to degree the cams at? Also are these the 106360 or 106460's?

Nice gains...but the real question is, how does it feel? Noticable difference?

Really pushed the peak power way out.....the hp/tq intersection is about 575. This motor needs to be revved to 8000 to really use that upper end power potential. Interesting results

Those are great numbers and really make me want cams as this is basically the exact same power that I am making now (before numbers) and what I could be making with cams. Stupid budget, lol, maybe next year.

+1 comp springs are known for failure

I had one break in one of my old cars that had a cammed LS motor in it. They did warranty the spring but not for the labor or having to pull the head and check everything.

Great gains OP, I never would of thought you could pick up that much power from cams alone on these cars.

I was very surprised about the gains.. To try and answer your questions, they are the comp cams stage 3. Part number 106460 XE-R supercharged nitrous cams.. I degreed the intake cams to 114 and exhaust cams to 118 as the cam card instructed.. And yes I felt a very noticeable difference after install especially after 5,000 rpms pulls very hard up top.. Let's just say I could def feel the 70hp and 50lbtq over the stock cams.. I've driven it about 500 miles with the cams and I can't see a reason to not beable to drive around as a daily driver.. Sounds amazing!! For 1,500 dollars it was well worth it but I also saved money by installing them myself which I wouldn't recommend for someone not familiar with modular motors, and the keepers for the valve spring huge PIMA!!

I used cloyes adjustable gears for the intake cams and the TFS crank gear for the exhaust cams!! These definetly have to be degreed don't believe you can get away without it!! I did hear stories about the comp valve springs but only like 3-4 years ago.. These are new springs so I'm confident that comp fixed there issue by now.. Plus I've read a lot of guys with over 5-10k miles with no issues..
Thanks for the replies!! I'll try to get a idle clip up for everyone
