will be running a 19x9.5 radial street tire up front and just wondering which tire is better for my 2010 3v 5 speed.
275/60/15 radial pro or 28x10.5x15S... heard the sway is really bad with a slick.. feel free to chime in anybody
i cut 1.65 60's on the pros haven't tried the slicks yet.. and if anyone knows how the pro is different from a regular radial please chime in. thanks

I've been running the 275 Pro now for 6 months and 10 races. I'm really happy with them. Cutting 1.4X 60's with them.

How much air are you running? how long of a burn out ? thank you

+1

I know it's a drag radial but, is it a soft sidewall tire? I know the hoosier drag radials will wrinkle more off the line due to their sidewalls not being as stiff as other drag radials.

I've run both the Hoosier and M/T Pro in the same 275/60/15 size. I had much better results with the M/T Pro and they lasted longer. I run 275 fronts and 13-15psi in the rears. A little sway, but no where near the sway of a bias ply on the rear.

I run 12-13 psi. I tried 15-17 when I first got them because everyone said keep the pressure up. I disagree now. I had my best 60's at 13 psi. I do a normal burn out at least until I see a good cloud of smoke in my rearview!

Air pressure will determine how much "sway" you have. I've run M/T 26x10.5x16 bias ply and M/T 275/50/15 Drag Radials and like the bias ply the best for the track. Street it's definitely hands down to the drag radials.

Im interested in the comparison as well. I planned on running the radial Pros but I got a set of used 28x10.5x15s for practically nothing. Was suppose to test them out today at the track but our plans got rained out.
