Dont waste your money. I have them on my car. You can't pull the tranny with em on. An the "ceramic" coating is all peeling off on the collector. I think "ceramic" is just the color of spray paint they use. Save your money for good headers and do it right once.
I have a set of mac longtubes on mine and were $650 and the ceramic coating has held up nice and will polish out if I were to actually clean them lol.
i have Mac LTs got them for $299 about 2yrs ago! Their not ceramic.
most annoying thread in SVTP history.
So what does it take to not be approved for the Snakebite? It seems to me that everyone who has applied has been approved.
I applied and didn't get approved. It's for the best anyway!
Lol. I'm at 503/502 with stg V, 2.8 upper, o/r x-pipe and CAI as my power mods. It's funny you said that cuz I was really hoping for 515-520 if I added some MAC LTs.
My car is tuned for 93 though, but I run Sunoco94.
That's my plan for my next mod. After my FLSFCs get put on soon anyway
If those numbers are from a Mustang Dyno like your sig says, then your pushing well over 503/502.
Not necessarily true at all. Some Mustang Dynos read high, some read low, some read "just right".......Depends on how it's loaded and how it's operated.......
Ok, enough of this. Send me the snake bite port and I'll show everyone what its capable of during the terminator shootout!
I think there are several that didnt make the cut
Submit your mods and information we will go over them, we had some computer complications and some of you may not have got the email.
It is best if Bob has your information in front of him and then he will be able to speak to you on the phone and go over more details/information with you. (Too much boost in some cases)
Snake Bite(tm) Spec Sheet
Need not worry, guys. Everybody and their brother who wants one will be able to get one in short order. This has all been merely a marketing ploy to drum up interest that has gone awry. My guess is Stieg won't be turning down anybody's $1,500.
I don't get it, boost can be reduced in the matter of an hour by replacing a lower pulley ring or upper at the blower. I'd love to run less boost and make more power.
What is the problem with running "too much boost"?
As you can tell I got turned down, too much boost I guess (18.89psi).
You were turned down becuase he doesn't think you would be able to pay the $1500 :lol1: just kidding man......I don't understand ANY of this especially since there's still no specs or anything. If I was in the situation to be able to get one...I would've jumped ship a couple weeks ago one I saw all the goings on in this thread
Yea, I have lost intreast in the....wait for it......"SNAKE BITE"
I've seen your dyno numbers to prove it
Haha 10-4 on that. I was hoping for an answer from Stieg. on cons of running my boost level with the Snake Bite. Not that I would, like I said if I could make another 80whp with 4 less PSI, I'll give it a go.
