Part of the reason I plan to keep my V8 Rebel for a long time. I have no faith in the Hurricane, and the V8 is no longer an option in the 1500 series.

We have the lesser Hurricane in our jeep wagoneer. 25K miles. Perfect so far. Good power and decent MPG.

The Toyota store using the strip mall parking lot next them to store pickups. Lot is now full. Crazy amount of man hours to replace every single engine affected by the recall.

I saw that, broken ring. Wonder who they source them from? Global components continue to bite us in the ass.

This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about when I harp on FCA products. These kids of issues are far too common. Every brand is susceptible to issues, but these kinds of catastrophic issues are happen way more often. When Enterprise started putting Wagoneers on rent, a mutual tow truck driver we use said he had towed 3 of them for Enterprise in a week for overheating and blown head gaskets.

Sooooo.. you’re saying I should dump my hellcat quick? LOL

I honestly don't hear about or see a lot of issues with the Hellcats and performance models, but I'm sure they have some. It's the regular engines, the 2.4, 3.6, 5.7, and now the Hurricane that come up often with some ridiculous issues that are due to poor engineering or quality.

I’ve had my fair share of hiccups with it to be honest. 2nd owner and bought with 11k miles.
