I've got a groan when I turn the steering wheel at a stop or under slow speed coming from the front end. This is a 2008 GT with 35,000 miles. What could it be?

In case anyone ever wondered what it was, it was swaybar bushings.

Good to know. I have a similar issue that I swear could be power steering but i'll check these too.

lol, I know the feeling when you start a thread for help and get "crickets",I have the same sound. I have a 2-3 second groan when turning the wheel from right to left parked or at low speeds, less than 5 mph like while parking . I just lowered the car with the FRPP springs so I'm not sure if its a coincidence or something got altered. Can you give me more detail on your fix? Might give me a starting place to look for. I already swapped my power steering fluid since the car was used and I wasn't sure the last time it was changed.
