Well here it is----Nobody could have guessed this, it turned out to be the reverse lock out module for my magnum t56. I had installed the magnum and its module close to the same time as my underdrive pulleys. So after replacing most of the under hood sensors and taking to shop for diagnosis and talking to 3 experts no body could figure out my idle problem and how it was connected to the AC being turned off and on. I disconnected the battery 4 times in the last 2 months trying to reset everything and that didnt work. Last week I took it out for a drive and I started having trouble putting it into reverse and also it was trying to go into reverse when shifting into 5th and I thought great now Im having trouble with my new transmission------After much thought I decided to unhook the lock out module from the transmission and power supply and low and behold my idle returned to normal with or without the AC being on. So I had a bad lockout module from the beginning but how it was causing a problem with the idle and especially with the AC is a head scratcher!!!! My module was from Jegs , so I have to buy another but its not going to be the Jegs one.--------Any recommendations for a new lock out module?
