Mine is extremely stiff

I used to have factory clutch cable on a ram 300 series

is the steeda clutch cable supposed to be 2-3x as stiff as a factory cable?

check that your cable is not binding on the quadrant. Do you have an aftermarket quadrant? My old bbk quadrant snapped 2 cables and was hard to depress. The reason was there was no bushing on the shaft to align the cable and quadrant. The result was cable binding and eating in to the quadrant until Pop! I bought a stock ford cable and a steeda double hook quadrant and firewall adjuster. The steeda quadrant comes with a bushing and washer to keep the quadrant perfectly aligned and no side to side movement. Now its so easy to press the clutch in.
