Came across these seats on craigslist last week and really liked the look. I also lucked out and got a set of corbreau seat brackets brand new for $90 that made the install a lot easier. Install wasn't to bad, I had to cut off some brackets on the srt seats and drill two holes in the corbreau brackets to use existing threaded holes on the seat. I wanted to be able to unbolt the bracket but i ended up having to weld the rear part to retain full travel on the sliders.

I thread a bolt into the existing threaded hole with the corbreau bracket clamped down to mark the hole location

welds on the top of the bracket also needed to be ground flush to allow it to bolts flat to the seat sliders
Bracket bolted on in the front and welds finished at the rear mount before paint.

The seats are very comfortable and hopefully will last longer than some cheap race seats being they are an oem seat. Total cost was 390 for seats and brackets.

I've had 2 SRT's and I've always loved these seats! Awesome to see someone fab them up into a mustang!

But I can also tell you that the quality you're hoping for really isn't there. There wasn't one thing about an SRT-4 interior that was really "quality" But on the flip side for what you have invested they will last longer than seats you could have bought in that price range.

yeah for $300 I was willing to take the risk, they are in immaculate shape. hardy a scratch on the bolsters. I had a talk with he fiance last night about how she has to be careful getting in and out now haha. If I found a set of the ACR inserts for a reasonable price i would probably put those in as well, I think they make the seats look a ton better. I was hoping to lose a bit a weight going to two manual seats but I think it ended up being about the same after everything was done.

Nice find, those definitely look in good shape considering they're 11-13 years old. They definitely have way better bolstering than the stock seats.
