Tried googling and can’t find a proper definitive list. SVTP search was inconclusive but I am on my phone so might be limited.

Does anyone have a full parts list for an SRA to IRS swap for an 03 Mach 1?

Thanks.

The land of commies and socialists!
You'll need the fallowing.

New exhaust (kind of obvious)
ABS/wheel speed sensors
Brake lines
Parking break cables

I have heard of people adapting the SRA parking brake cables to the irs but I've never seen it done.

For the drive shaft you have a few options. You can either swap the pinion flange or get a U-joint that will adapt the IRS pinion flange to your drive shaft.

Make sure you have the rear cradle brackets that take the place of the quad shock brackets.

At an absolute minimum I would upgrade the front cradle mounts bolts as suggested by FTBR.

I would take a good look at your knuckles and make sure the bearings aren't shot. Also check the torque on the axle nuts and condition of the cross axis joints.

Drain the duiff and check for clutch pack friction material. If it's got black sludge in it the packs and maybe bearings could be shot.

Change your fuel filter when you pull the SRA. This is probably the last time it will be easy.

Now is the time to upgrade anything you can afford and inspecting the IRS is important because pulling it back out isn't a walk in the park unless you have a lift. I am speaking from experience because most of what I suggested checking I had issues with.

when i did my swap i used the the ebrake cables from the SRA. They work just fine. Before the swap I would suggest doing the bushings and replacing everything worn out. If it doesn't have the diff brace then get that also. the shock are different from the IRS and the SRA if I am not mistaken.

Going from a stock ‘93 Cobra SRA with ‘03 Cobra brakes and 5-lug already functioning as stock with parking brakes and swapping in a built FTBR IRS that is already in a Foxbody project.
I’d love to use the E-brake from the existing SRA as the brakes are staying the same.
Great to hear on cables thank you.

I put an 04 IRS into my 92 coupe, you'll need to remove the pinion snubber, change out the brake lines (see pic below, and I think I have part numbers somewhere), swap pinion flange (for a fox, don't think so on the Mach 1), exhaust obviously, and wheels will be tough for a fox. I highly suggest upgrading all the bushings while it's out to at least poly bushings (what I did) or get the full FTBR kit if the budget allows.

‘99-01 Cobra wheels fit perfect on an IRS Fox.
Thanks for the info.

WH 1442 - M10x1.0 to 3/8-24 adapters (to connect hard lines to soft lines - two needed)
WH 702X3 - Three way 3/8-24 Tee fitting
BK 8131204 - 20" pre-fabbed 3/16" hard line with 3/8-24 fittings
BK 8131205 - 30" pre-fabbed 3/16" hard line with 3/8-24 fittings
The part numbers are from Napa. (although that was 10 years ago, not sure if still accurate)
