[QUOTE="hRnYg0aTw33d, post: 16408492, member: 102851"] ended up taking me most of the day on saturday to get my HE installed, i hit every possible snag, plus i cut and created the degas bypass mod on the fly instead of removing the tank etc. Because i am running the stock overflow tank, i didnt realize i was going to run into a tight situation on the outlet of the tank...i ended up having to run a 90* hose off of the outlet, into a T and plumbed the hose down to the Pierburg pump on the driver side frame rail. It ended up working out okay. Once i got that done i pretty much sailed to the end. Initially i had gotten a bunch of air into the system (like an asshat ugh) but i was able to fill the tank, jumper the pump, and burp the exchanger via removing the outlet hose. I was worried because i wasnt seeing a huge increase in fluid moving through the tank, just a steady flow with microbubbles. but ive read that this is normal and im not seeing any large bubbles coming through. Is it possible i could have air still in the intercooler? Im going to take the car to get a new sticker on tuesday and ill monitor my IAT's and check the reservoir after a short drive, i would think the car moving and pushing the fluid through the system will further remove any air. pic attached of the pump mounting/hose plumbing!
