How do you like Fairchild? I did Survival School there when I was in the AF.

Well since my wife is a RT instructor over in the camp there, I am pretty familiar with survival. And yes, she can kick my ass

I bet the RT instructors have a lot of fun and see some really funny stuff. I remember this one student in my class, an SP who cross-trained to flight crew, broke down crying and wigged out when they made us strip naked in the cells.

yeah, I wouldn't talk about any of the training, but every time I think about that guy I have to laugh.

Funny. She tells me some pretty funny stories... remember "screw your buddy" cards?

I don't think I ever saw one of those cards, but I heard about them, and those RT guys knew stuff about me that made me say WTF???

I actually was interested in being a Survival Instructor, but they weren't recruiting when I was in basic. Fortunately TACP was recruiting, or I'd have been stuck in my original job: electronics tech.
I think Survival Instructor would've been a great job; I know I had a blast going through the school.

So your wife beats the crap out of trainees by day, then comes home and does scrapbooking at night?? LOL.
