My lug nuts have taken a crap on me... many of them have rounded off corners. So, time to replace them. I've bought some splined lug nuts from Amazon, but now that I've put them on the car, the shoulder area looks a lot less than the stock nuts... anyone run into this and any thoughts?

I am a weary buyer when it comes to Amazon and EBay. I purchased my splined lug nuts from LMR. They have a perfect 60° base that sits flush within the wheel.

I have to admit that the lug nuts look frail compared to acorn lug nuts. They are solid though. So far I have not had any issues.

X2 I have the LMR ones on the front and open ended spline lugs on the rear because of the arp studs on my mach 1. They seem like a lot less lug nut but they seem well built amd it keeps my wheels from getting beat up in the lug holes.
