speedo issue

so i have a speedo issue, i got the car and it wasnt reading speed at all, i installed a new vss, now the gauge show 40ish when the car is off and does go up and i drive, any ideas? also if it matters, i noticed that my tach shows low, like idle is 500 or 600.....all others seem fine.

Do you have the other speedo? Install it and see if it fixes it...

no that is the one thing i left in the other car forgot it.
