The type/brand of clutch doesnt matter.

What issue are you having?

If you don't have a firewall adjuster, lift up on the clutch petal.

If you do have a firewall adjuster, you want the TO bearing riding on the clutch fingers at idle.

Ok put a new trans in, I have quadrant, firewall adjuster and adjustable clutch cable. From old trans to new trans clutch adjustment is completely off. Could not start the vehicle initially because clutch was so tight. Got adjusted to start the car and now clutch pedal is at the floor rather than at the top where it was previously. Trans is still t56 just like before just built

What do you mean at floor as opposed to at the top? Personally the first thing I'd do is throw away the adjustable cable and put a stock cable in.

Are you saying that the clutch isn't fully disengaging when you press the pedal to the floor?
