I need a little advice from those who have been there. My car is finally ready for e85 but I am in a debate with my tuner on the proper spark plug gap.

I currently have them at .016" and he is recommending around .020". The setup is 10:1, single 78mm on 25 psi. Possibly a 50 shot on top. I am running a set of NGK BR7EF plugs.

My thoughts were since the higher compression and the cold tendency of e85, to close the gap so it has more intensity. But he feels like it is too tight to make a complete burn.

The car should make around 1000 wheel. Where do you guys set your gaps?

Well, I guess I'm going against the grain here.

I am at .016 on BR7EF's. Anything bigger than .016 on TR6's even I get blow out at 24PSI. Even tried a different set of factory coils.
