Ngk tr6's copper. I wasn't there for the pull. I got a call from my tuner telling me that the car
Was having spark blow out on the top end. What is the benefit of switching plugs? I figured with e85 that I didn't have to drop another heat range

What kind of boost are you running? Aside from those plugs being a step colder
Does anything make them less prone to blow out?

Gap closer, many members have lost 10-20 hp by going with br7ef's. Try .024 as that heat range with e85 is fine, many are using it without e85 at that boost.

22 psi.

The BR7EF's have a recessed tip to help avoid blow out and reduce the chance of pre-detonation.

The TR6 has a protruded tip.

I personally like the extra safety margin with the 7's over the 6's. But to each there own.

This is the 1st I've heard of this..what cars I've ran both the b7 an tr6 an no difference in number gas or E85. This is on a gt500. So what cars claim to lose hp.

you dont want to go a step colder, due to the decrease in temperature the combustion chamber sees, a plug slightly warmer than the tr6 is a better idea. That is what ive been told by an engine builder/engineer.

BR7EF @ .019. 22lbs no problem! I tried the TR6s and the car didnt like them. Just a note, when you go to the store and get either, the BR7EF is NGK stock # 3346 and the TR6 is 4417.
