thought i'd post some sound clips of the 2 exhausts i have. simple startups + couple revs. the one thing these videos don't show very well is the volume difference - the stingers are much much louder than the m-58. i thought it stalled the first time i cranked it with the m-58 on but nope, it was just idling smoothly and quietly. i'll let ya'll make your own opinions.
personally, i love the m-58. much better/clearer tone, probably way too quiet for the typical cobra owner but i'm an audio engineer for a living and i feel like this exhaust is absolutely perfect for my tastes and hearing health. the only time i miss the stingers is at idle. the m-58 has no drone whatsoever at cruise or WOT, i think in part due to the 2nd crossover post mufflers. the roar at WOT is subtle and tasteful, i actually found myself driving the car a bit harder and less self-consciously than with the stingers.
first is stock manifolds > magnaflow 2.5" high-flow cats (all 4 of them, SMOG legal replacement) > mac prochamber > borla stingers catback

second is stock logs > same magnaflow cats > magnaflow x-pipe > M-58 catback.
