Im on the fence between 305 35 18 toyos or Nitto 555r. Tried the 315 35 18 in the Toyo TQ on my 10 inch wheels and it bulged. So, sticking with 305s just not sure which brand

Nitto 555r didn't last me long at all! Maybe 4k miles, zero burnouts or track use. I'll be going with the R888. Some have stated 20k miles or more, with awsome traction.

and this is my dilema as well

I am thinking of buying 18x9 18x10 10th reps from american muscle

I can't make up my mind on rear tire sire in R888 to save my life.......

I was thinking 275/35/18 for front and 295/30/18 for rear or maybe the 305/35/18 but can't make my up mind and to worried about tire buldge

I had NT05 315 tires on 10.5" x 17" rims. The are much truer to their size than the 555r. They filled the rims completely and then some. Got almost 10k miles out of them. Switched to NT05R and I lost track of exact miles but it's only around 1 or 2k and they're not sticking worth a crap anymore. I'm hoping it's just weather related but 1st and 2nd are worthless, I hook from 3rd on. Was playing with some friends on the interstate on Saturday and 3rd to 4th shift ripped them loose. Got me by surprise, about had a heart attack, let out of it and car straightened up and got traction and then I laid back into it. Might be time to try some Toyos myself.

I think those will end looking too big on an 10" rim....but it will be interesting to see. Makes sure and get pics with those toyo 305s side by side with the 555r 305s you currently have. Maybe take some measurements

I installed 315s on Saturday and the bulge was not bad. The only reason I did not buy them was because the irs bolt was right on the tire. Discount tire let me test fit which was good. 305s should be perfect

im running 315/30/18 r888 on afs 10.5 inch wide rims and i think 295s would work on a 10 inch wide wheel. my tires have maybe an inch or an inch and a half on each side not even making contact with the road because of the bulge. best tire ever though

Pics? Even crappy cell phone pics would be awesome. I'm leaning towards 305/35r18's for my 18x10.5 AFS reps.

1-1.5" is a lot.

Here's a 295/35 on an 18x10 rear....this I think most will agree looks "perfect" as far as sidewall/width and fitment front to back. The fronts are 265/35. I really second guess myself for ever getting 18x11s out rear...the tire choices are ridiculously small. Being able to run 295s open up a lot more choices

My NT05's lasted 6 months and 4,000miles. Daily Driven to work, no racing or burnouts. I wasn't impressed with them and just put on the R888's. I'm hoping these last a little longer.

Have your rear alignment checked. When I was burning through Nittos every 3k miles I figured something was wrong. Had a four wheel alignment done and my NT05's lasted almost 10k hard miles playing on the roads.

I hope it's not a crazy bulge. But the next size down would have been 295/30/18, and I wanted to stick with a 35 series tire. And I want to give the R888 a try.
