Hey guys. Hopefully one of you suspension guru's can help me. I bought my 04 Cobra with a solid axle in it and I'm in the process of putting an IRS back in. I'm having issues with the driver side spring and I'm not sure why or what could be causing it, unless maybe the angle of the LCA is off.

Anyway, the passenger side spring lines up perfectly in the upper spring perch, and compresses fine without moving around. The driver side keeps wanting to bow out when compressed and as you can see in the pictures, slides out towards the rear of the car so some of the spring isn't even under the perch. I'm lost with this one it doesn't seem to matter which orientation I put it, and I've tried swapping left and right springs but get the same result. Last picture is the passenger side for reference

That is one thing I haven't tried yet. Didn't think it would adjust the spring correctly by doing so. If I can't get it figured out then I guess that will be my last option though

The front springs lower pigtails should be lined up to just off the control arm spring cup weep hole.

You can put a small pipe end or jack handle on the weep hole to keep the spring from turning, as you jack up the arm to tighten the spring in place.
You have to get a feel for when to pull the pipe end out or the pipe will get wedged in completely and then you will need to start over.
