I finally got to speak to Glenn again last night, he is such a nice guy to speak to on the phone.
My tank had been ready for a long time, he had been waiting for me to call him.
I was just about to arrange shipping from the UK to pick up from the US as it appears to be cheaper to do this, and I was told that the workshop have shipped my tank to someone else.
Glenn says he has built 4 after my order.
So one of you lucky guys has the tank I paid for back in October !
I now have email comms with Glenn, so I am hoping I will get an update when my new tank will be built.

Good news is Glenn has another one ready for me on Friday. So not to work out shipping to the UK. UPS want $700, Fedex want about $300, and through a Parcel broker, I think I can get Fedex to do it for about $150.

Tank picked up Tuesday and on my doorstep Friday. Cost was £140 to ship (inc Ins) and Import Duty of £168, next steps are to powder coat it and fit it in Feb 2020.

It's effectively the same thing. If you want to import a non-EU built car, like a Ford Mustang, you have to pay Import Duty of 10% and then VAT (Sales Tax) of 20%.
