Again, thank you guys so much. Your comments mean a lot after the time and effort involved.

@94 Cobra R the hood vents are really quite simple to install. Scary for most I’m sure but once you actually commit to cutting your stock hood it’s simple lol
The temp difference and cool down time is astounding. So worth it IMO. They look pretty slick too. Having them painted DSG to match went through my head but I ultimately decided to carry out the theme from the bay/wheels.

I think I’ll order these instead of trying to get one of the Racebronco hoods. My car is very similar to yours, DSG with black Rovos. Would be nice to have the cooling benefits. Thanks! And beautiful car.

Car is perfect. How do you like the trackspec vents? There are not many options to choose from anymore.

Thank you sir. I absolutely love the vents. Literally watching heat leave the engine bay as you sit at a stop light is nice

Wow! OCD attention to detail, I love it! What mufflers are you using?

Thanks fellas!

Running stingers out back. Sounds pretty tame but the cutouts solve that if I need some extra sound

Great job! Your car looks awesome and that undercarriage is clean! How many miles on the car? Did you clean the undercarriage at Lidio's shop on a lift? Or your own lift?

man all you guys are awesome thank you!

The car has 37k miles. It's taken a ton of time to get it as clean as you see it now. And I used my buddy's lift for a couple days. I have a humble two car garage myself lol
I see you're in Detroit, whereabouts do the rest of the cobra guys get together? Maybe I can swing by with the car

Wow for 37k miles that undercarriage looks mint!

When everyone still had Terminators they met for the Downriver Cruise, the Woodward Dream Cruise, on Woodward, Gratiot etc.

There was also a fall run for a few years with more than a dozen Terminators to the Jackson area that was fun - I attended one of those. Really scenic and a few twists in the road to enjoy.

I have not driven the car much these past few years and have less miles than yours on it. It is also very clean but I need to give the undercarriage another thorough cleaning. I keep it parked in my mom's garage in Bloomfield and is one of the reasons I don't drive it much. Another is because the roads are so damn shitty. You just never know if you are going to encounter a pothole, dirt, wet puddles etc. I really would not get a nice car for Michigan - what's the point? They need to straighten out the roads. I drive cheap leased cars these days and don't care if the roads are good or not - unless I am in cars I own haha!

My own garage is full of wood supplies, table saw, chop saw etc. so I moved the Cobra to her garage until I get my own straightened out and it has been a few years.

We can do the Dream Cruise this year. But I don't plan on sitting in bumper to bumper traffic lol!

thanks to everyone who has been taken a second out of their time to post a comment. Means a lot!

As for Michigan roads, brother they're truly the worst. I totally get it but I can't not have a toy car to drive around in now and then. Just means you need a more road course oriented suspension to quickly dodge potholes :) I'll be at Woodward. Never in the congested areas though. I'm down closer to I-75 where you get some room to stretch the car out
