What’s the latest recommendation for a single disc clutch for a <500hp car with T56 Magnum?

Not looking to debate single disc versus dual disc - there’s plenty of that conversation out there. I do not want to run a dual disc.

I see McLeod has a super street pro (which I’ve read is temperamental at higher RPMs ) and I’ve also used spec stage 3’s over 20yrs ago. Curious what’s been successful lately.

i'm a big fan of ram clutches. 450whp. i went back from twin-disc to a ram in my coupe and it has been working great for years and is daily driven. i had a few ram clutches before i went to twin disc too and always thought they were good. make sure you have a solid quadrant and fw adjuster. heavy pedal, esp compared to stock or esp a twin-disc.

I was looking at the 98951T Powergrip. Is that the one you are using?

I’m currently debating between that, the McLeod Super Street Pro or the Spec 3+ (SF873FT). People talk about the light pedal option on the Spex 3+, but I don’t see that option on their website or any of the resellers.

Spec 3+ w/light pedal option and aluminum pressure plate option. Exedy light weight billet chromoly steel flywheel. Decent engagement and pedal pressure and holds the torque just fine.

Thank you! Where did you order the Spec from? Did you have to call them directly to get the light pedal option? It’s not listed on their website.

It’s been a few years, but iirc I ordered it through Lethal. I believe you can also call and order direct from Spec as well.
