it’s a scam. There are tons on the kc craigslist that are the same format with some random girls email on the pic.
Gawddd that's Offer Up, about 70% scams. Same truck listed by 15 different users for $1,200 with only "good" in the info.

Just put a deposit on an '18 F150 RCSB 4x4 with a 5.0 and A10! :D I've been watching for a while because these things are rarer than hens teeth in Canada. The dealer needs to fix a couple issues plus it's 600 miles away so it'll be a few weeks before I can pick it up. The plan is for a Gen 5 3.0l Whipple, long tubes, 2/4" drop, 22" forged wheels and 10 second ET's!.

I like the 5.7 for its longevity, the shop I used to go to made a boat load of money fixing 5.3 heads with broken studs and stripped plug holes. My DD 1991 gmc 5.7 5 speed 232k and will pull a stump.View attachment 1653845

My father bought his 91 gmc serria 1500 Z71 brand new and we still have it... single cab 8 foot bed, 350 auto. I remember back in high-school beating my friend in his dads brand new dodge avenger at the time lol.
10 years later something in the motor let go whilr doing donuts in my back yard, it had around 350k miles on it. Droped another used 350 in and it still runs to this day has like 450k miles on it lol. Been a great truck might try to restore it one day!

@Corbic Right now its a shit show in the used market. They still havent gotten production back to normal so the used market is 100% a sellers market. Especially here in AZ since most everything for sale is clean.

Check out publicauctions.com, specifically here:
Public Surplus: Motor Pool

State of Arizona sells all of the vehicles coming out of service here. Some are great deals, some a trash. All depends, but there are some deals to be had.

So this thread has made me look.. These ****ing truck prices are absolutely ****ing insane.

I'm seeing single cab 2009 single cab silverados ALL ****ING DAY on CarGurus at dealerships for $13k with 120k miles..

So I said screw it, and looked up private party value for my truck.

It's an 09 Silverado Work Truck. Has towing package, 4x4, 5.3 motor, etc.. picked it up a month ago for less than $2k...

****ing $7000 in next to poor condition. I am absolutely tempted to put it for sale for $8500 just to see what happens. I had ZERO idea that single cab/extended cab truck values were through the ****ing roof right now

Everything is ****ing insane right now.

People want $20k for a 2008 Tundra with 200k miles. They want $15k for a 2003 2500HD 6.0 worth 189k miles.

Mine has 251k miles, and I'm sitting here thinking, ehhh ill sell it in a year for $2500. since it has so many miles

Now I'm like **** it, enjoy it for 3-4 years and sell it for double with 300k miles, or try to sell it now for triple. Lol

Problem is, if I sold it.. I can't find jack shit for $6000-$7000 truck wise.

Someone posted on the Dodge forum that the single cab Ram 1500 trucks are going for pretty big money. Like in the "30k range good money". With some mileage on them. I wonder why this is?
I could probably get some killer money for mine in the condition and mileage that I have.

Try caravana if you want to sell they will give you a quote without you having to commit good for seven days. Used car prices are on the up.
