Got finished being built, and I realized I didn't do a thread as I learn how to do things around the house. I've never owned/built a house.. nor have I really ever worked on a house ( those in LNC have seen my stupid question. So here it goes

Lol nah that was my picture taking. I actually bought a laser level, and leveled it out to make sure it was perfect.

The shelves are awesome. I built my wife some from these plans. I also built our bed and our guest bed from some of her plans. They are really helpful!

It's mostly due to the wind and sand/dirt

We bought our house and had about 8-12" tall dollar weed covering the back yard. It's almost a 1/4 acre in size for a backyard. It was like mowing carpet. I've been getting a first hand lesson in lawn car and how to say FU to weeds, getting grass to grow, preventing snakes, bugs, and overall unwanted shit in the yard. It's been an experience to say the least. Thank god I have the lady of the house to help out.

I'm going out there this weekend to kill all the weeds. They are growing way way too fast. I'm still unhappy with some stuff in the backyard that i definitely need to fix.. like concrete...

If you decide to seed, buy contractors grass thats pregerminated. That stuff would grow on concrete. Just takes a lot of water at first. But ours has started to fill in.

Weeds are definitely a pain. Atrizene wrecks dollar weed. Put down a good premergent too and it'll help keep stuff from growing before it gets hot.

I want that ****ing yard! I have resodded three times in 9 years, we have a lot of trees and shade, grass just dies off. I wanna do the whole dessert, cactus theme for our yard, but the wife ain't having it.

Honestly I'll probably fake grass/ astro. Just where my dog will run around. Mostly because I dont want to run sprinkler lines.. keep up with that. Plus 130 degree summers with no rain. Etc.

Lol i live alone with my dog. It's pretty easy... Also when I have an extra bedroom/bathroom/2 closets I don't use.. Makes it easy haha

The batin station lights up too like the kitchen. Ignore the mess of wires under. I took the pic right after install, Does I think 7 colors like the kitchen
