Side scoop gone and dealer visit.

I went to the dealer where I bought my 03 and I showed them the scoop. They said they never seen one fly off but to my best count they were only allowed three 03's in the first run so they aint seen too many 03's period. They said they would take a few pic's and email Ford. The manager asked me how fast I was going because Ford would want to know and he said "140 mph, just kidding". They were nice. They said it shouldn't fly off period. I just called and they said it was covered. I would bet there will be a recall on these things. If you get up to speed you are risking pulling these things off. I doubt I'll ever run that hard again. I really don't know how fast I was going but I'm sure you will se a few slung off in the 1/4. Those Chevy boys better watch out in the 1/4 because one might fly up and hit them in the windshield ;-) .

I really don't think that it will be a problem. I've been 140 a few times and mine ain't fell off. I wouldn't be too worried.
