That seems like a nice one. Looks big and I like the idea of the remote. Any info to model or brand info?

How's the hit on the electric bill? I briefly looked into those so I didn't have to dick around with running a gas line and vent, but from what I was seeing, the electric heaters were super expensive to run

Brand is King. It is model eco2s. I think they have a few sizes. Bought it at Menards.

Honestly haven't noticed, but I dont pay a lot of attention to utility bills - my wife pays them...

Will say the garage is insulated pretty well and it doesn't run a whole lot at 55.

Do you have a link for that?

Can it be wired to a 220v outlet?

I had one similar to that but I unfortunately didn't go vented. After one season the ceiling around the ceiling and walls were visibly blackened. Do you have propane or natural gas?

It comes natural gas with a kit to make it LP compatible, only takes a couple minutes to change over.

Going vented was a big deal to me, after running a kerosene torpedo style heater for years I wanted something quiet, didn't stink and vented the moisture out while making heat. I can now mop the floor and have it actually dry in about 30 minutes, where before it would stay wet for hours.

What's it do to the electric bill used the way you do?

Trying to decide between propane and electric - propane gas a higher install price ....

Ah, that's what caused the blackened walls in my garage. I was thinking it was carbon, but it was the moisture getting on the walls.

So are you using natural gas now in your garage, or LP? Natural gas is more convenient, of course, because you don't need a storage tank outside. We have an LP tank out back that feeds our LP fireplace setup. I do wish we had natural gas.

I'm using LP. I live on 40 acres way off the road, had a small local company drop off a 100 gallon tank that sits just behind the garage.
