I'm looking at a 04 cobra. It has 72000 miles on it, but its had 6 previous owners. I ran a car fax on it and it showed no accidents, and its average miles per year was 11,730. A few of the owners only had it for a few months, so my question is should i be worried about this? Thanks in advanced for the info guys!

To be honest, i wouldnt worry about it, just make sure u get a mechanic or urself to run a compression test and/or a leakdown test before buying it, it sound like alot of work but u dont want to buy a car with an engine that is complete shit.

Hey man!

Sometimes the dealerships where the vehicle is sold at shows up as an owner.

So if someone sold it to a dealer and then it was sold at the same dealer than can equal 3 owners because carfax can not always determine the difference. Whenever the title is transferred it can spike an owner increase.

Bigger dealers do not usually spark an owner because they put the title towards a leasing company and they never actually own the vehicle until they sell it.

Hope this helps.

I wouldnt worry about it. As others have stated, check the car out good and thats all that matters.

My car had 38k when I bought it, (still does lol), I am the owner I believe. It doesn't really matter. Most people who own these put very minimal miles on them and a lot of the time I see people who buy them and 2 months later sell them because they can't afford them.

I would take SY any day over ZY!;-) As others have said, if the car checks out - especially with a good leakdown and compression test then don't worry. I would not buy without spending a few bucks first to have those diagnostics done though. These cars are getting old now, and since most people use them as a "toy", they often keep the car a couple of years and decide that it costs them too much for the actual use of the car. I know if I hadn't paid cash for mine, and still had payments every month it would be long gone since I rarely drive it.

I think the Terminator looks sick in every color. I love SY. To make any color work, the right stance, wheels, window tint ect make the worlds difference.

QFT, dissected your post Brian due to the fact as that's how I feel anymore. Actually drove mine to get a hair cut yesterday, woo, woo. Bought mine new and the novelty is starting to wear off, fun but................
