We see bodies on the south river bank constantly. Camera operators and helos also call them out constantly. It’s normal.

These guys shined a flashlight at the boat crew. They looked over and that’s when they opened up. They just hit the deck and floored it.

We do. This is very rare. They don’t challenge us overtly like this often at all.

Unfortunately, hiding in 8’ tall grass and shooting at a boat in the wide open is a serious tactical advantage. Boat guys did the right thing beating feet. Deal was over in seconds and after that there was no threat to return fire on.

Not sure what boats you guys run with. I remember being stationed in Bahrain and when important ships came in the Mark 5 come out fully armed. Those diesels are crazy loud and awesome.
