I have a 98 Gt with the stock shifter. And I was looking in to getting a new shifter. But the problem is that i dont know what kind of shifter is in there now is it a T5, tremec,ora Borg Warner? Am I right when I am wondering if these are the ones in my car or am I way off? I am looking in to getting a pro 5.0, is this a good one? will it work in my car? thanks for all the help. the following are the ones I am talking about so if you could just tell me which one I should get I would really apreciate it thanks
-- Pro-5.0 T5/T45 Shifter
-- Pro-5.0 Tremec TKO/3550
-- Pro-5.0 Borg Warner T56
-- Pro-5.0 3650 Shifter NEWs it a T5

My 86 had a Borg Warner T-5. I don't know if it had changed over the years. :-? All I know is that they were expensive to replacee every 4 months of driving it like I stole it.


I think you need the first one mentioned ... Pro-5.0 T5/T45 Shifter.

If you do alot of drag racing or beating on your tranny. The Tremec TKO/3550 is the tranny to save for. Every time i saved for this tranny i would end up breaking mine. Thuss leaving me to go and get a replacement so I wouldn't lose time in work.
