Ford Performance machines impress on the Goodwood hill climb

Today at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the United Kingdom, the man who was once behind the helmet on Top Gear as The Stig, Ben Collins, piloted a Race Red Shelby GT350R and Ken Block, of Gymkhana fame, drove a Focus RS on the famed 1.16-mile hill climb course.

Both cars= amazing ! The fella in front of the Mustang appeared to be slowing Ben up at the end of the course.

Does not look like much of a hill climb at least compared to virginia city hill climb. Any word on the times vs the other competitors? The cars look sweet!

In his interview, he actually said he was fighting to maintain control on the launch. He said he'd never been behind the wheel before then, and he assumed it was going to be about like a 2015 Mustang GT that he'd already had some seat time in. He launched it really hard, and it caught him off guard how much more power it had. He had nothing but praise for the car though.
