I've seen people put Mach 1000 in GT's that didn't have it from the factory so it is possible. Idk what is necessary to do this though. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Yeah thanks. I would love to find a Mach 1000 to swap in. I already have the Mach 460, I just want subs and I might as well keep it factory.

I just saw a Shaker 1000 subs, amp and deck for sale cheap. Didn't know if I could swap them into my vert with ease.

Check with Kicker. I know they make a plug and play upgrade for the shaker 500's for my car with a sub and amps.

my '03 mach 1 i just bought came with a mach 1000 setup. through the research i've done and talking with my ford parts department, you will need the mach 1000 head unit, the wiring to the amps, the amp rack and subs/mount plates.

i was doing the research to see what i should price it at, considering i don't want/need the bass. plus my kb rear sway bar wouldn't fit with the amp rack.

I have the mach 1000 and love it, With a after market in dash makes it sound so much better and just as good as a lot of after market stereos. The problem is finding one but I have seen a few in the market for fairly cheap
