Severity of Clunk

Hey there,

I just got my Cobra and the thing is absolutely great! I just have a question for you all though... how severe is the dreaded "clunk" for most people? I was reading some posts where some people said it was a soft clunk... the clunk I hear just seems very harsh. Is that normal? How badly would you rate your clunk? I'm just curious as to whether or not I should make a trip to the dealer to check it out... thanks alot for your time!

The clunk and thudders I have (see Sig) are about the same and I consider them annoying and embarrassing ..........not severe.....................Don

I don't have any clunk unless I drop the clutch hard. Since I feather the clutch to load up the drive line before letting it engage, I don't have a clunk. Been driving manual tranny's since Model "A". Ford forever!
