I'm looking to get out of my truck: 2013 GMC SLT with 35k miles. It has basic options for a SLT - no navigation or rear camera. I have been looking at other trucks but I think I would rather take the equity out of it and get a cheaper DD for now. That being said, I decided to check Carmax and Carvana to see what they would offer. I went to Carmax online, typed in my Vin, and the offer came in at $24,200 which I thought was pretty good. I did the same thing on the Carvana website and they had a crazy offer: $29,200. That is an absolute madness. I know used cars are crazy now but I paid 33k for it 6 years ago. How can I turn that down? This leads me to my next question: Best DD for under 10k with the only requirement that it is a sedan/SUV with ~100k or less miles. Honestly, I would be open to going to 12k if they actually give me $29k but we'll see. Are there any legitimate contenders to the Camry/Accord and their respective Lexus/Acura? I know that the Nissan Altima had their transmission issues back then. those. Hyundai's from that era weren't what they are now. Same with the Kia's. Am I missing any hidden gems? Thanks!
